Vítejte, Mabuhay, Welcome!
Hi folks!
Welcome to the Philippines.cz, a place that focuses on:
- helping out the Pinoys who live in the Czech Republic
- helping out the mixed Czech/Pinoy couples
- helping out any travellers who want to learn about the Philippines, be it for a trip or for a relocation
Posting to this website
OK, I was hoping this time would never come but it did just now. This site cannot allow posting stuff without approval anymore. Aside from the regular visitors who post comments and actively contribute to this website's content, there are also unethical internet abusers who post unsolicited advertisements. On top of that, such advertisements are often disguised in some randomly generated half-witted text. So, as much as I hate to do this, I am forced to enforce the rules for approvals of the postings.
The Philippines Embassy in Czech Republic
The Philippines Embassy in Czech Republic opened in January 1997. It is located downtown Prague, at Senovážné náměstí 8, Prague 1.

What do you get when you cross-breed E.T. with a Gremlin? Yes, a Tarsier :-)
Foreigners in the Czech Republic - information booklets

Are you a foreigner living in the Czech Republic? Are you interested in finding out the legal requirements for visas? Do you need information on work permits?

Top 10 City Tourism Destinations in Europe
According to the Focus on Travel News server (http://www.ftnnews.com/content/view/9746/32/), Prague is #7 in the European Travel destinations.
Given the size of this country and the size of this city and given the overall competition in Europe, being the seventh most visited city seems quite a success.
Adding images to the posts on this site
Hours of digging and searching and still not there. Goal: be able to add inline images to the blogs and posts at this website. As easy as this. But the upload window has a dark background which makes all the text in it invisible. Grrrrr...am I just dumb or what? I can't seem to make that text visible and this effectively makes adding inline images to blog posts unusable.
Oh well, I'll keep digging. Hopefully, this is just some small and insignificant setting that I overlooked and once found, this website will allow people to add images to their postings.
